- Does GoalieBook hold my money?
- No. Funds transfer directly from Stripe to your bank account. GoalieBook is never in the middle of that transaction.
- What are Stripe's fees?
- For domestic cards, Stripe's standard online rate is 2.9% + $0.30 in Canada and the US. Rates can vary by country, card type, currency conversion, and Stripe account. You decide whether to pass the card processing fee through to goalies at checkout or absorb it yourself — either way, GoalieBook handles the math so there's nothing to reconcile later.
- Can I use my existing Stripe account?
- Yes. If you already have a Stripe account, you can connect it during setup rather than creating a new one.
- What countries are supported?
- Stripe Connect is available in Canada, the US, and many other countries. Your country is determined by the location you enter during GoalieBook signup.
- What if I prefer cash or cheque?
- You can always record manual payments in GoalieBook. Stripe Connect is optional but recommended for the best experience — it eliminates payment tracking entirely.
